National Hospital Week Picnic
May 13, 2009

In recognition of National Hospital Week, Odessa Regional Medical Center will honor its employees and volunteers Friday, May 15th, at its annual Hospital Week Picnic from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Progressive Park, on the corner of 7th and Tom Green Streets.

ORMC CEO Bill Porter, along with other ORMC directors, will be cooking hamburgers and hotdogs and serving the employees. Each employee will also receive a Hospital Week gift. Employees will also enjoy games and dancing.

“The Employee Picnic has become a long-standing tradition here at ORMC,” CEO Bill Porter said. “The employees really look forward to it every year.”

Odessa Regional Medical Center opened June 1, 1975 and was founded by 14 obstetricians, gynecologists, family practitioners and pediatricians. Over the years, the hospital has grown into a full-service, 230-bed facility.
