Hospital Breaks Ground on New Medical Office Building

June 12, 2007 - Odessa Regional Medical Center will break ground on a 40,000-square-foot, $6 million medical office building at noon Wednesday, June 13th in the parking lot on the corner of 5th and Tom Green Streets.

The two-story building will encompass what is now Tom Green Street and will connect to the hospital’s west side. The building will accommodate 12 to 15 physicians and should be complete within 8 months.

“We are very pleased about our medical office building project,” Matthew Roberts, ORMC CEO said. “Having physician offices connected to our facility will make doing business at ORMC more convenient for patients and physicians.”

The project builder is DASCO of Palm Beach Gardens, Calif., and the architect is Perkins + Will of Dallas, assisted by Landgraf, Crutcher & Associates of Odessa
